Fireworks company makes a noise in the industry
Star Fireworks (the fireworks company that put on a huge display for the Royals when they were promoted to the Premiership in 2006) has won an industry competition.
Star Fireworks (based in Bracknell) where the proud winners of the coveted North of England Fireworks Championship this month.
The last heat was held in Manchester, where teams each put on a 10-minute firework display, in what was a fiercely fought battle with other firework companies.
Star Fireworks will now go in to the final of the British Fireworks Championships, which will be held in Plymouth in August this year.
A member of Star Fireworks, commented: “This is the most important firework competition in the UK and we are so utterly delighted that we managed to create a spectacular show that was good enough for the judges to award us first place”.
“Over 35 UK companies enter this competition annually and to be in the top six is a fantastic feeling and real testimony to the highly talented team of designers and crew that work for us.”
